Nantwich Tourist Information is handing out free CDs to people buying tickets for the forthcoming Folk Set In Sandstone event.

Anyone buying tickets for both of the next two Cheshire Folk concerts at Bickerton Village Hall, Bickerton, will be given a compilation CD with 17 different tracks.

Miriam Backhouse, from South Africa, will perform a fun evening of English and South African folk music on September 17, supported by Farndon musician Mark Dennis.

The emphasis is on folk joining in. Tickets are £8.

And on October 29, Irish singer Fil Campbell will sing the best of Irelands’ ballads.

Plus there will be an exhibition of Crewe artist Estella Scholes’ Bickerton Hill Project. Tickets are £9.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
